            • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA;
            • BILINGUAL (ENGLISH AND FRENCH) AND CREE AN ASSET;
            • EXPERIENCE IN GENERAL CLERICAL, SECRETARIAL AND ACCOUNTING FIELD IS CONSIDERED AN ASSET:
            • KNOWLEDGE OF EXCEL, WORD AND INTERNET NAVIGATION.

 


Responsabilities:

            • GREET AND ASSIST ALL VISITORS;
            • ANSWER THE TELEPHONE AND FORWARD CALLS TO THE APPROPRIATE PERSON OR DEPARTMENT;
            • TAKE MESSAGES AND PROVIDE BASIC INFORMATION AS REQUIRED;;
            • BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUTGOING AND INCOMING MAIL, PUROLATOR SHIPMENTS, ORDER OFFICE SUPPLIES;
            • PERFORM MANY EXCEL REPORTS AND TASKS IN CONJUCTION WITH THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT;
            • ALL OTHER RELATED TASKS.

            • SHOULD POSSESS EXCELLENT ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPUTER SKILLS;
            • MUST SPEAK ENGLISH AND FRENCH FLUENTLY KNOWLEDGE OF CREE LANGUAGE IS AN ASSET;
            • EXPERIENCE IN THE USE OF COMPUTERIZED RESERVATIONS SYSTEM (GABRIEL) IS CONSIDERED AN ASSET;
            • MUST BE WILLING TO WORK WEEK-ENDS, EARLY MORNINGS AND EVENINGS.

 


Responsabilities:

            • ANSWER TELEPHONE ENQUIRIES: PROVIDE INFORMATION TO CUSTOMERS ON FARES, FLIGHT SCHEDULES, ROUTES AND BOOK PASSENGER RESERVATIONS;
            • PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT AIRPORT COUNTER FOR SCHEDULED AND CHARTER FLIGHTS;

FULL TIME FLIGHT ATTENDANT TO BE BASED IN VAL-D'OR (2 positions available in Val-d'Or)

Location:

VAL-D'OR, QUÉBEC

REQUIREMENTS:

            • A minimum of Grade 12 education;
            • Knowledge of the airline industry is an asset;
            • Speak and write French and English fluently and the Cree language is an asset;
            • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
            • Must enjoy flying;
            • Must be able to work unusual hours with/without overnights;
            • Must be available upon request;
            • Must provide a criminal background check;

 


Candidates Must Successfully Complete the Following Prior to Being Certified:

            • -3 weeks of Ground School at the Air Creebec Inc. training facilities in Timmins and/or Montreal;
            • -Several In-Flight training flights with a qualified Flight Attendant;
            • -Final Line Indoctrination flight with Flight Attendant Training Instructor or Chief Flight Attendant;

Briefly Listed Below are some of the Duties and Responsibilities of a Flight Attendant:


Duties:

              

            • Reporting for duty
            • Safety and emergency equipment pre-flight check
            • Pre-boarding
            • Pre-take-off
            • In-flight service
            • Pre-landing

            • Responsible for the passengers on board
            • Daily crew briefings
            • Cabin preparation in the event of an emergency
            • Team work
            •
