Administrative Assistant

From our bases in Montreal, Val-d’Or and Timmins, we service 16 destinations towards the Cree communities in Northern Quebec and Ontario with regular flights, freight services and chartered flights.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
(Full time – 32 to 40 hours/week)

Your role

In close collaboration and in support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the Executive Coordinator, you will be called upon to coordinate and carry out clerical and administrative tasks for all management activities. While carrying out duties pertaining to managing calendars, travel schedules and all reservations needed, your responsibilities will also include the writing and layout of various documents, taking meeting minutes, filing and server archiving. You will extract data from different software and prepare weekly reports. You will also execute in-house mailings and field incoming phone calls for management.

Do you have the right profile ?

You are trained in secretarial and office automation (a vocational diploma [DEP] or Quebec College Diploma [DEC]) and related experience in a similar position. You have excellent mastery of English (oral and written) and of the MS Office 2016 suite. You have interest in acquiring different software knowledge and optimizing data collection. You are motivated, enthusiastic and punctual. You like teamwork and have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. You understand the importance of the confidentiality of the information you handle. You are proactive and have a sense of responsibility. Independent, you can manage many concurrent requests in an environment of emergencies and changes. Knowledge of the Cree language is an asset.
